Please find below a link to our full Ofsted Report, which was finalised and confirmed by Ofsted Quality Assurance on 29th November 2007.
We are extremely pleased with the Report, which is a fair, accurate and comprehensive assessment of our school at this stage. The Inspector was vigorous and thoughtful in the way the inspection was conducted - there were no surprises where the school is outstanding and good, and the areas to develop were largely identified by ourselves through our self-evaluation and School Improvement Plan.
I am grateful to the very large number (I was told well over 200) of responses to the parent Survey, the majority of which was poitive or largely positive towards the school. The support or parents is important and always valued. I also totally endorse and agree with the Inspector's letter to the children, because they are the key to this successful school.
Finally, this report is a very useful aid to us as we move Swalecliffe Communtiy Primary School forward over the next three or four years.
