I went to Swalecliffe Infant and Junior schools between 1971 and 1977. I have many happy memories. I am sure it is a very different school now. I have stayed in education, now working as a Maths Adviser for West Sussex County Council.

I can clearly remember my first art lesson, way back in 1987! That's where it all started, and now I'm working in the creative design and architectural industry using 3D computer graphics. Incredible, to think back so long ago...

I'm in year 7 and Barton Court and went to Swalecliffe for 7 years. I made loads of friends as everyone was so nice, including the teachers. There were so many clubs and great opportunities. They always pushed to your best and thats how I achieved being at my school. I cried nearly all day on the last day and was very sad to leave. When I was there I didn't like it much and now I think it is the best primary school for anyone to go to. Some times I just wish I could rewind time and live my years at Swalecliffe again. I miss everyone even Mr Hares. Luv Jess xxxx.

Really good school....passed the kent tests and went to grammar school. This was all down to the fantastic teaching i recieved....thoroughly recommend it to anyone thinking about sending their child there. You will not find any other school with as much dedication from teachers and pupils. Just can't say enough.

I enjoyed going there for the 7 years I went there and was sad to leave. It was fun and I made friends in all different years. It was good when the quiet area was built as we were aloud to interact with the younger children. I left in 2007.

Hello, I used to go to this school from 1984-1988 and I absolutely loved it. I remember Mr Allister Smith (comment at the bottom of the page) and although I did not have him as a teacher he used to make me laugh as I was his register monitor and he would always check if I was wearing plimsoles!!! Mrs Brent was also a great teacher but my favourite teacher was Mr Cadney. Anyway, I hope you have as much fun there as I did and hopefully when I pass my teaching degree I'll be fortunate enough to work there as well!!!

I go to this school now and I am in the final year. I have always loved this school forever the teachers are great the assistants are wonderful and I would recormend that if your children would like to come to this school then come. But then I have started from year R which is the reception class where you start and they even educate you from then. so I would recommend them for your children.

Hello! I am now in year 12 at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Faversham, so I left Swalecliffe in.... 2001. I loved it! And I am so stressed now with A Level work it makes me miss it even more!! My mummy, Miss Clarke worked there for a gazillion years. Well, ok, run out of things to say.... but thanks Swalecliffe, for the best, most relaxed time ever. Little ones, secondry school sucks until you get to 6th form, so enjoy it while you can! x x x

Swalecliffe is a totally wicked school! It helped me get by and pass the 11+ and got me into QE in Faversham! It's fun, yet rewarding. Swalecliffe is a great school because of the fab teachers and the friends you meet. Going to Devon was my fave week out. I wish I was still young enough to stay on at Swalecliffe, thats's why I'm hopefully gonna do my work experience there - if Mr Griffiths etc say it's ok =D byeee x

I will always have fond memories of walking into Mrs Parker's assemblies first thing in the morning in what was then the Infants School as she played "The Entertainers" on her piano. I recall the day of her retirement when she was presented with a rocking chair (1977/78?). Miss Lee was my Class Teacher fresh out of teaching college. I went on to play in the Junior School's football team (I believe the first it had thanks to a parent, Mr Lee, who gave his time generously). Reculver were our arch enemy! Happy days walking home along Bridgefield Road.
