Health and Fitness Week
Normal lessons are replaced by a series of talks and workshops delivered by visiting speakers – anything from dental hygiene to hand washing in KS1, dance, yoga, pilates and aerobic sessions, three sports afternoons, orienteering and circuit training. On a more serious note, children in Year 6 learn about the dangers of drug misuse.
The week is truly a team effort and we are indebted to the voluntary contribution of parents, teaching assistants, former pupils, representatives from local businesses and a number of health professionals.
